New Hours to Better Meet Your Needs

I just wanted to take this moment to let you know there are some changes going on around here.  I am anticipating being able to offer more evening appointments as a second treatment room has become available to me.

For those of you that like my undivided attention during treatment, you will still be able to receive that service when you come during the mid day.  I was finding it a challenge to meet the needs of clients in the later afternoon and early evenings as these are the times that are most desireable.  By being able to stagger evening appointments, I will be able to meet your needs more effectively.  And hopefully I have you feel better and more like yourself sooner as well.

If you need to book appointments after your work day, then check out this

                                          new schedule:

                                                                Monday         9am – 6 pm          Tuesday        11am  –  8pm
                                                                Wednesday  9am – 6pm            Friday            9am  –  6pm

I am anticipating that the second room may be available by the end of February.  Please feel free to check in with me during the month of February, as I may be able to set things up quicker that anticipated.  Maybe you will be the first person to be in the new room?

As always, I strive to offer the best products and services that I can find to meet your needs.  I am presently looking at bringing collagen to improve the joints, your skin, and to heal your digestive system among other systems in the body.

There are a few other changes going on, so please feel free to ask.

Remember that acupuncture is covered by your Extended Health Care Plans.

If you happen to know someone who could use my services, please feel free to pass my name along to them.  I greatly appreciate it, and I’m sure they will too.

As always, I wish you the best health and hope that 2017 treats you very well.

Wishing you the very best 2017 can bring toyou!.

Warmest Wishes

Oh, the pain and stiffness of fibromyalgia, can acupuncture help?

An estimated 3 – 6 % of the population suffers from fibromyalgia, which causes widespread pain, fatigue, and anxiety. For those living with it, it can be a life-altering condition, leaving them unable to enjoy activities others take for granted. Acupuncture provides a safe method that has been shown to greatly reduce symptoms.

Acupuncture is used for relief of many ailments, mostly pain. Tiny needles correct the energy imbalance resulting in pain relief. A study of 18,000 patients concluded that in conditions such as chronic headache or arthritis, acupuncture is nearly twice as effective as traditionally prescribed drugs.

Benefits of acupuncture are: Reduced Pain, Relaxation, Improved Sleep and Boosted Immune System just to name a few.

Other methods of treatment for Fibromyalgia are Trigger Point Injections.

Trigger point injection (TPI) may be an option for treating pain in some patients. TPI is a procedure used to treat painful areas of muscle that contain trigger points, or knots of muscle that form when muscles do not relax. Often these knots can be felt and are quite painful. Trigger points may irritate the nerves around them and cause pain to appear in another part of the body.  Examples of this is sciatica pain.

What happens in a Trigger Point Injection treatment?

The injection contains a local anesthetic called procaine, B12 (hydroxocobalamin) and a saline solution. The injection allows the trigger point and the surrounding muscles to relax and the pain is alleviated.  Several sites may be injected in one visit.

Fibromyalgia can be a frustrating and debilitating illness thankfully; acupuncture can be a highly effective option.

Back, neck and shoulder pain are the most common complaints and affect more than 75% of our clients.  Pain anywhere in the body is exhausting. Pain causes fatigue both mentally and physically. It inhibits the ability to move about, to get exercise or to stretch and to maintain a positive attitude.

Acupuncture is helpful in pain reduction or elimination of pain by quickening the healing process. By using various techniques that reduce inflammation and increase circulation, acupuncture can speed the body’s natural healing response.

Acupuncture can reduce or eliminate your pain, without negative side effects. You are going to want to enjoy the longer days and sunshine as Spring approaches. Take care of yourself and treat those aches and pains.

So, instead of taking potentially harmful pain medication – why not try acupuncture, a natural approach to relieving those aches and pains.
